Drowning, I can see you drowning. Your head above the water, sinking deeper into the pale blue ocean. Do you know what it’s like to be on the edge but still keeping on, keeping on?
Does it hurt you too? Breaking the glass, and walking on broken glass. Turn the page. Change the scene. Paint something new.
Do you know what it’s like to be on the edge but still keeping on, keeping on?
Pick up the broken pieces, someone will love you again. Someone will change your world. This is all abit blurred.
We all start off as something and become something entirely different. Good or bad.
Why is it that nowadays more people believe in the above statement, including myself, rather than something more chipper? I’ll tell you the answer, society has told people who to be rather than being themselves. What we see is the teachings of a flipped world.
I feel that with every person out there, we all have more than one side to us. Some more good than others. I think that people can rise above the ashes just as quickly as they can fall. We all have flaws and things that make us see either more of the good or more of the bad in ourselves.
